The CATALOG.WRK Symphony Template is a poor man's disk
catalog and cover system. At our company, we have a very hard
time keeping track of disks and what the files that are on a par-
ticular disk are for. This simple Symphony template which
resides on all our disks is our first attempt to overcome the
problem. We currently have an internal competition going, to
develop the template to its maximum potential, and as the results
come in we will release them.
There are no warranties associated with this template, you
receive it as is.
I am always willing to listen to suggestions as how to best
upgrade this template. Please call or drop me a line. I can
also be reached by leaving a message at the Fargo ND RBBS - (701)

As set up the following defaults are set:
System Configuration:
1. COMPAQ Deskpro w/ two floppies, Symphony Program disk
in drive A, data disk in drive B.
2. CI-3520 Dot Matrix Printer which emulates the IBM
Graphics/Epson printer (The best bar none!), for your
particular printer you will have to supply the ap-
propriate initialization string for 8 lines per inch
and compressed print.
After booting up Symphony and loading the CATALOG.WRK file
the following procedure is used to catalog your files that reside
on the disk in drive B.
1. Press Alt I, to invoke the input macro. You will notice
that the a listing of the files from drive B are input into the
appropriate place in the template. You are to provide a descrip-
tion of the files to the right of their names. Also space is
provided to place a disk name or label at the top.
2. Save the CATALOG.WRK template on your data disk.
3. Print out a disk cover and catalog sheet by invoking the
print macro - press Alt P.
4. Presto - you are done. Have fun!
